St. Patrick's Day Pre-Parade Breakfast
Jasper alumni, family and friends are invited to join the College for a special breakfast reception on Monday, March 17 at Club Quarters Hotel (40 W. 45th St., btwn 5th & 6th Aves, New York, NY), near parade formation. The breakfast is $35 for alumni & friends, $20 for students (cost includes sash) and will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Assembly will start at 12 p.m., on W. 45th Street at 5th Avenue. To march with Manhattan, purchase a sash from the Gaelic Society for $5, available at the line of march.
The Manhattan College contingent will be led by President Brennan O'Donnell, along with the award-winning Manhattan College Pipes & Drums. We are judged throughout the parade. Last year we received second place in the "Best Marching Unit" Colleges category. Help us receive the top award this year!
Guidelines issued by the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee:
- Smart business casual attire required; preferably no jeans or sneakers
- No beads, funny hats, painted faces or commercial advertising
- No smoking, food or beverages while marching
- No more than 12 people across per row
- March at an arm's distance apart No outside banners, flags or signs will be allowed
- Additional marchers cannot join the group once we are on 5th Avenue
- Please remember, you are on Fifth Avenue for one hour a year and you should march with pride in your heritage and dress and act accordingly.
