2018 Sonoma Alumni Winery Tour

Northern California alumni, family and friends are invited to join Steve Burchik '67, Stephen Laruccia '67 and Manhattan College Director of Alumni Relations Louis Calvelli for a day in Sonoma County.  Enjoy a relaxing afternoon sampling wines and connecting with fellow Jaspers. 

The cost of the event is $70 per person, which includes a tour and tasting at St. Francis Winery; a tasting at Chateau St. Jean (with a cheese and charcuterie pairing) and; a boxed lunch at Ledson Castle. 

A private coach has been chartered, and packages including transportation are $95.  Please note that space is limited.  Guests will be picked up at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Civic Center/UN Plaza Bart Station and dropped off at the same location around 4:30/5:00 p.m.

ITINERARY

  9:00 a.m.     Chartered coach departs San Francisco (from the Civic Center/UN Plaza BART Station)

10:30 a.m.     Arrive at St. Francis Winery (100 Pythian Road at Hwy 12 - Sonoma Hwy - Santa Rosa, CA 95409) for a personalized wine tasting

12:00 p.m.     Coach departs St. Francis to Chateau St. Jean

12:30 p.m.     Arrive at Chateau St. Jean (8555 Sonoma Hwy - Kenwood, CA 95452) for tasting with cheese and charcuterie pairing

  1:30 p.m.     Coach departs Chateau St. Jean to Ledson Castle

  2:00 p.m.     Arrive at Ledson Castle (7335 CA-12, Kenwood, CA 95409) for gourmet sandwiches and softs

  3:30 p.m.     Coach departs Ledson Castle

4:30/5 p.m.    Coach arrives in San Francisco
